Located in the historic Saunders-Kennedy Building—completed in 1912 and designed in the elegant Renaissance Revival style—this space once stood at the center of Omaha’s early enterprise. Today, it continues that legacy as a destination for gathering, conversation, and craft.
The name Gilded Feather reflects the spirit of both the building and the hotel itself. “Gilded” speaks to polish and refinement, while “feather” draws inspiration from the peregrine falcon—symbolizing lightness, movement, and natural beauty. Together, they represent a thoughtful balance of historic elegance and modern hospitality.
